Curating the safari, right zone, right month
- Twenty-five years of knowing exactly which gate, which zone, and which month, so your first tiger is not left to luck.
- We do not just book safaris. We know where the tiger will be and when.
- The right park, the right zone, the right month. That is the whole secret, and we have spent 25 years learning it.
Naturalists Born in
the Jungle
- Our naturalists did not study the jungle. They grew up in it.
- Born beside the reserves, raised on alarm calls and pug marks, our trackers read the forest the way you read a newspaper.
- Some guides learn tigers from books. Ours walked to school on their tracks.
Tell us your plan; nothing is
set in stone
- Tell us your days, your month and your dream, and we will build the safari around it.
- Every tour below is a starting point, not a script. Your India, your way.
- Nothing here is etched in stone except our promise to tailor it to you.

When Is the Best Time to Visit India for a Tiger Safari: By Park, Zone, and Travel Goal?
The best time for tiger safaris in India is generally considered to be between October 1st (when the national park opens) to 30th June (the last day pre monsoon closure). While in these 9 months, one can most definitely visit national parks in India, it is critical to understand which month will suit your travel needs the best.
The forest is green and full after the rains, with pleasant daytime temperatures. Thick grass and plentiful water mean tigers range widely, so sightings take more patience.

- Lush landscapes and fewer crowds
- Comfortable weather
- Some zones, like Corbett’s Dhikala, open later in November
Cold, misty starts give way to clear, sunny days. Migratory birds arrive, and the low winter light is a favourite with photographers. Pack warm layers for open jeeps.

- Photography in golden light
- Birding with winter migrants
- Combining a safari with sightseeing
As the forest dries out and waterholes shrink, tigers are drawn to fewer water sources, which makes them easier to find. Days get very hot from April, so safaris focus on early mornings and late afternoons.
