About Corbett and Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Tour

Corbett and Dudhwa National Park, form a part of the Terai Arc Landscape (TAL), an 810 kms stretch, covering three Indian States, namely Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar. The protected areas within TAL are connected with one another through wildlife corridors which in itself are part of the reserved forest.

The key wildlife population include Tigers, One-Horned Rhino and the Asian Elephants. In addition, it is home to many endangered species like the Ghariyal, Bengal Florican, Gangetic Dolphins, Fishing Cat, close to 600 species of birds and plenty more.

This specific tiger safari tour is for nature enthusiasts in true sense, people who have patience and perseverance to wait for wildlife to come to you. The uniqueness of these forests is the stay one can enjoy in the Forest Rest House, located deep inside the jungle. These Rest Houses were used by the Forest Officers during the British Raj. While the accommodation is very basic with limited food choice and power supply, it is kept so deliberately. The jungle should be experienced for what it is, where luxury means sighting a tiger multiple times.

On this Tiger safari tour in India, you will have the opportunity to witness not only Tigers, but also the mighty tusker Asian Elephants and Rhinos. Dudhwa National Park is home to almost 500 species of birds. The Bengal Florican, Great Slaty Woodpeckers, Black Necked Stork, Great Pied Hornbill are a few examples. Apart from colorful Avifauna, Dudhwa houses Otters and Crocodiles as well. The Swamp Deer in Bankey Taal are a delight to watch. Therefore, it is only fair to say that a tiger safari in Dudhwa will be fruitful one for somebody seeking diversity in Indian Wildlife.
